Thomas Schoenbein has called Pasadena home for over 40 years. He and his wife, Bonnie, have been married for 40 years and are proud parents and grandparents, having two children and three grandchildren who still live in and around Pasadena.
Thomas brings a wealth of experience across multiple industries, which has equipped him with the skills to connect with and serve Pasadena’s residents. His 12 years at Phillips Chemical Company provided him with a deep understanding of the petrochemical industry, while his 20-year career in retail, where he advanced to Store Director, reinforced his commitment to servant leadership. After retiring in 2018, he pursued a career in real estate, earning his license the same year.
Beyond his professional career, Thomas has been a dedicated community leader, and a lifelong church member, where he has served as both a Sunday school teacher and Deacon. His commitment to youth development includes coaching little league baseball and basketball, as well as serving as President of the Pasadena Umpire’s Association.
As a City Councilman, Thomas has leveraged his diverse experience to deliver real results—resolving complex infrastructure issues, improving city services, and advocating for public safety. He is committed to fiscal responsibility, utilizing innovative technologies to enhance efficiency while ensuring transparency and ethical governance. All of these qualities make Thomas the ideal choice to lead as your next mayor!
